Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born 13 December 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift is a pop/country songwriter and singer for over 20 years. The stories she tells of her romantic love in the midst of heartbreak and young love have gained her widespread popularity throughout the 21st century. Swift was interested in music from an early stage of her life. She swiftly rose through in the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater and then performing before a huge crowd. When she was 11 years old, she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. the following year she picked up the guitar and began writing songs. Swift had taken her inspirations from Shania Twain's music as well as her band the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world in country music composed the songs of her own to convey the feeling of being alienated. Swift was 13 when her parents decided to sell their Pennsylvania farm to relocate into Hendersonville Tennessee. She could then devote all of her efforts to contacting country labels located in Nashville.
